Sport

From 2012-2015 I worked at North Derbyshire’s Peak FM, progressing from work experience to becoming Producer and Broadcast Assistant.

As part of a small team, I created high quality content covering Chesterfield FC matches, writing scripts, editing audio and conducting interviews for news and broadcast. I live-tweeted matches from Chesterfield’s Proact Stadium, and I wrote match reports and news stories for peakfm.com. In the highlight of my career so far, I reported from Wembley Stadium during the 2014 Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of a team platform, there is no record of authorship on the website of this time, but don’t hesitate to contact me in order to be provided with a reference.

I also worked on Chesterfield FC’s official matchday programme, Inspire, from 2013-2015. I conceived of, and sourced content for, a regular interview feature. During the 2013-2014 season, this was with playing and coaching staff. The following season, this was with key fans who had a long and fascinating history with the club. In addition, I at times contributed statistical research and short biographies for the programme. Again, a reference can be provided for this period of work upon request.
